Turnah Briefs Pdp National Chairman On Bayelsa, Reaffirms Commitment To Return Party To Creek Haven

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, earlier today paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the Party, His Excellency, Hon. Amb. Abdulrahman Mohammed, at his office at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

During the meeting, Hon. Turnah provided the National Chairman with a comprehensive briefing on the state of the party in Bayelsa State, highlighting ongoing efforts to strengthen party structures, deepen grassroots mobilization, foster unity among stakeholders, and reposition the PDP for greater electoral success.

The Bayelsa PDP Chairman assured the National Chairman of the determination, readiness, and commitment of the leadership and members of the party in the state to return the PDP to Creek Haven, the seat of government in Bayelsa State, stressing that the party remains focused on reconnecting with the people and rebuilding confidence across all levels.

In his remarks, the National Chairman, Hon. Amb. Abdulrahman Mohammed, expressed satisfaction with the progress recorded by the party in Bayelsa State under Hon. Turnah’s leadership. He commended the efforts of the State Working Committee and party faithful, while assuring the Bayelsa PDP Chairman of the continued support and cooperation of the national leadership.

The meeting further reaffirmed the strong relationship between the national and state leadership of the party, as well as their shared commitment to strengthening the PDP and positioning it for victory in forthcoming elections.
