I am deeply saddened by the untimely death of Mr. Barakumo Solomon Odede, a promising Bayelsa-born social media content creator whose creativity, energy and contributions to the digital space touched many lives.

The news of his passing is painful and deeply shocking. Barakumo was a young man with immense potential, using his talent and digital platform to entertain, inform and connect with people. His death is not only a loss to his family and loved ones but also to the wider Bayelsa creative and media community.

At this difficult moment, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, friends, colleagues and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. I pray that God Almighty grants the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

May the Almighty God receive his soul and grant him eternal rest. His memories, creativity and the impact he made during his lifetime will remain with us.
