The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Chief Alabh George Turnah, MON, has led members of the State Working Committee and other party stakeholders on a condolence visit to the family of the late CEO of TVAfrica24, Barakumor Odede, in Yenagoa.

The delegation, despite heavy rainfall and the poor condition of the road to the family’s residence, visited to commiserate with the bereaved family and honour the memory of the deceased, whom the party described as a loyal friend and supporter.

Turnah described Odede as a committed supporter of the PDP who consistently promoted the party’s activities and leadership without seeking personal benefits.

He announced that the Bayelsa PDP would provide the family with N200,000 monthly to support the welfare and education of the deceased’s children.

Turnah urged the widow to remain strong and maintain contact with the party, assuring her that the PDP would continue to stand by the family.

Responding, Mrs. Odede expressed appreciation to Turnah and the PDP leadership for the visit and continued support.

Prayers were offered for the strength, protection and sustenance of the family.
