The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has paid a condolence visit to the Party’s candidate for the Ogbia Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives for the 2027 general elections, Hon. Daniel Kopuamologi Oruanye, following the passing of his beloved mother, Madam Rosemary Jackson.
Hon. Turnah, who visited the bereaved family at Hon. Oruanye’s residence in Yenagoa alongside his beloved wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Jennifer Turnah, expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the PDP candidate and members of his family during this difficult period.
The Bayelsa PDP Chairman described the death of a mother as a painful and irreplaceable loss, regardless of age, and urged the family to take solace in the impactful life lived by the deceased and the enduring legacy she leaves behind through her children and family.
He encouraged Hon. Oruanye to remain strong and comforted by the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, associates, and members of the PDP family, assuring him that the party shares in his grief and stands firmly with him at this moment of bereavement.
As a mark of respect and solidarity, Hon. Turnah also signed the condolence register and offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of Madam Rosemary Jackson, while praying God to grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss.




The Bayelsa PDP Chairman was accompanied by party faithful and associates who joined him in conveying the condolences of the party to the bereaved family.
