The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, has fixed October 2, 2026, for its 100th State Executive Committee (SEC) meeting, as part of activities to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the creation of Bayelsa State.

The decision was reached at the 129th State Working Committee (SWC) meeting of the Party held at the PDP State Secretariat in Yenagoa.

The special SEC meeting is expected to bring together Party leaders, stakeholders and executives from across the State to reflect on Bayelsa’s journey over the past three decades and reaffirm the PDP’s commitment to the peace, unity, development and prosperity of the State.

The event will also provide an opportunity for the Party to celebrate its contributions to the political and democratic development of Bayelsa State.
