The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bayelsa State, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, has approved the appointment of Mr. Brave Agundu as Director of Transport (DOT), Mr. Benjamin Marabhin as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Protocol, and the promotion of Mr. Kelvin Loveday-Egbo to the rank of Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media & Communication.
The Chairman has also approved the promotion of Mr. James Afebo to Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Domestic Affairs and Miss Precious Waribugo also promoted to Director of Administration & Human Resources.The appointments and promotions take immediate effect.
The latest decisions are part of the ongoing efforts by the PDP to strengthen the administrative and operational structure of the party in Bayelsa State, enhance efficiency, and ensure that competent and committed personnel are deployed to strategic positions within the party.
Mr. Brave Agundu, as Director of Transport, will oversee the coordination of transportation arrangements for party activities and official engagements, while Mr. Benjamin Marabhin, as Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, will support the effective coordination of protocol-related matters and official engagements of the State Chairman.
Mr. Kelvin Loveday-Egbo, who previously served as Media Assistant to the Chairman, has been elevated to the position of Senior Special Assistant on Media & Communication in recognition of his contributions to the party’s media operations and strategic communication. In his new capacity, he will support the development and implementation of effective media and communication strategies for the Chairman and the party.
Mr. James Afebo has also been elevated from his previous position as Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs to Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs, while Miss Precious Waribugo who previously served as Administrative Officer now assumes responsibility as Director of Administration & Human Resources, where she will support the effective coordination of administrative affairs and human-resource management within the party structure.
The State Chairman expresses confidence in the competence, dedication and capacity of all the appointees and promoted officers, and charges them to discharge their responsibilities with professionalism, loyalty, discipline and a strong commitment to the growth and development of the PDP in Bayelsa State.The appointees and promoted officers are congratulated and wished success in their respective assignments.
