The Acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and South South Zonal Secretary of the party, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, today, Saturday, June 21, 2025, graced the 2025 Traditional Wrestling Season Opening Ceremony of Upata Kingdom in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State. Barr. Turnah, who hails maternally from Edeoha Town in Upata Kingdom, was warmly received at the historic cultural event alongside his wife, Mrs. Jennifer Turnah, and members of the Bayelsa State PDP Caretaker Committee. Their arrival at the ancestral town of Edeoha was met with a resounding welcome by a jubilant crowd of men, women, youth, and traditional rulers, who turned out in large numbers to honour one of their own.
