The Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and Zonal Secretary of the PDP South South Zone, Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, today Friday 9th May, 2025, arrived Igbogene in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, to attend the burial ceremony of Late Madam Sabana Ukachukwu Gbenizibe Jerry Ekwems, who passed on at the age of 91.
Barr. Turnah, who joined family members, friends, and sympathizers to pay last respects to the nonagenarian, described her as a woman of virtue whose legacy will live on through the lives she touched.
He extended heartfelt condolences to his friend, Wilson Mumeya, and the bereaved family, urging them to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life and has gone to be with her Maker.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and strength for the family in this period of mourning.
On Turnah’s entourage were members of the caretaker committee of the PDP in the state.
